Mechanism of Action –

TADALAFIL –

Tadalafil selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5).

During sexual stimulation:

NO release → cGMP ↑ → smooth-muscle relaxation → penile blood flow ↑ → erection

Tadalafil inhibits PDE-5, which normally breaks down cGMP.

PDE-5 inhibition → cGMP remains elevated → increased/maintained penile blood flow → improved erection.

Tadalafil does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation.

Dapoxetine-

Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) with a relatively short duration of action.

Dapoxetine → serotonin reuptake ↓ → serotonergic activity ↑ → ejaculation reflex delayed → improved ejaculation control

Therefore, it is used primarily for premature ejaculation (PE).

 

  • Take 1 tablet with water, usually about 1–3 hours before sexual activity.
  • It can generally be taken with or without food.
  • Do not take more than one tablet in 36 hours.
  • Sexual stimulation is still required for tadalafil to produce an erection.
  • Avoid taking it together with other tadalafil/PDE-5 inhibitor medicines.

Super- t tablet  is not intended for continuous daily use

Do NOT take tadalafil if you use nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin/isosorbide, because the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.Dapoxetine can cause dizziness or fainting, so avoid excessive alcohol and be careful when standing up quickly.

Before taking SUPER-T TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines, such as:

  • nitrates or amyl nitrites (used for reliving chest pain) Ex. nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrite
  • other medicines used to manage prostate problems or blood pressure, such as alpha blockers (Ex. silodosin and doxazosin)
  • riociguat (a medicine used to manage increased pressure in the lungs)
  • medicines used to manage depression (Ex. fluoxetine, sertraline, citalopram, escitalopram, amitriptyline, isocarboxazid, selegiline, nefazodone, and St. john’s wort)

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice within 24 hours prior to taking SUPER-T TABLET, as it may increase the level of SUPER-T TABLET in the body.

If you or anyone else accidentally took more SUPER-T TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. The symptoms of an overdose are nausea and vomiting.
